FHO+ Billing

Privacy policy

How FHO+ Billing handles account information, billing records, local storage, and support messages.

Last updated September 24, 2026

What FHO+ Billing is for

FHO+ Billing is a time-logging and review tool. It is not a patient chart, an electronic medical record, or a claim-submission service.

Do not enter patient names, health card numbers, identifying clinical details, or other information that the app does not need. Keep records consistent with your practice's privacy and retention policies.

Information stored on your device

Before you sign in, the web app and iOS app keep local records on the current device. These can include service dates, time totals, activity descriptions, notes, presets, preferences, recovery copies, and sync metadata.

Local data can remain on a device after sign-out. Use the app's clear-local-data controls before sharing a device, and remember that operating-system backups, exported PDFs or JSON files, and browser or device recovery tools may retain copies outside the app.

Information stored in the cloud

When you create an account and complete the app's verification and migration flow, FHO+ Billing uses Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore to store your account profile, saved day entries, presets, preferences, installation metadata, and sync status under your Firebase user ID.

Cloud records are protected by Firebase Authentication and Firestore ownership rules. A signed-in account can read and write only its own records. Email verification is required before billing records and synced preferences are uploaded.

Information received from providers and forms

  • Email/password and Google sign-in can provide an account email, provider identifier, display name, and verification state.
  • The contact form sends the name, email address, and message you submit to the configured form-processing service and the FHO+ Billing support inbox.
  • Support links may open a third-party payment page when payment links are configured. Payment details are handled by that payment provider, not stored by FHO+ Billing.

How information is used

Information is used to provide authentication, save and synchronize your records across supported devices, restore your local data, answer support requests, and operate and improve the app.

FHO+ Billing does not enable advertising or analytics tracking in the current app. It does not sell your information.

Deletion and retention

You can request account deletion from the account controls. The supported deletion flow re-authenticates you, removes the account profile and synced records, and deletes the Firebase Authentication account. A minimal marker containing the Firebase user ID and deletion timestamp remains so an offline device cannot recreate cloud records. Other devices may still hold offline copies; clear FHO+ data on each device when you next open it. Copies you exported or backed up must also be removed separately.

Support messages, payment-provider records, and infrastructure logs may be retained by the service that receives them under its own policies. Contact jakub@sixthbit.com with a privacy question or deletion concern.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the app, its data flows, or its providers change. The date above identifies the current version. If a change is material, the app or website may provide additional notice.
