Use FHO+ Billing across devices

Set up FHO+ Billing on web and iPhone with the same account, then check whether your preferences and saved billing records have synced.

Quick answer: Cross-device sync is available when you sign in to the same cloud-enabled FHO+ Billing account on each supported device. Local-only records stay in their current browser or device until you review and upload them.

Before using another device

  1. Sign in to the same FHO+ Billing account on both devices. Confirm that each screen shows the signed-in account rather than local-only mode.
  2. Keep both devices online while the app finishes sending and receiving changes.
  3. If you are moving records from local mode, review the import preview and confirm the dates and presets before saving them to the cloud.
  4. Export a JSON backup before a large migration or account change. Keep the backup in storage approved by your practice.

Check that a change reached the cloud

  1. On the web app, open Settings, then Support, and review App Status. Check the account, Sync Mode, Pending Uploads, and Last Acknowledged Write values.
  2. Make a small, harmless preference change on the first device and wait for Pending Uploads to return to 0 and the acknowledgement time to update.
  3. Open the same account on the second device and confirm that the preference matches. Refresh the app if it was already open.
  4. For saved day entries or presets, check the same service date or preset on both devices after pending uploads have finished.

If the second device is behind

  • Local-only mode does not upload changes. Sign in to the intended account before expecting cross-device data.
  • A nonzero Pending Uploads count means the app still has work queued. Keep the device online and allow it to finish.
  • Check that both devices use the same account. Similar names or email addresses do not mean they share an account.
  • Do not clear browser data, uninstall the app, or sign out while investigating a missing record. Export a recovery copy and contact support if the status remains stuck.

Important notes

  • Cloud sync is a convenience, not a backup strategy. Keep a separate recovery copy and follow your practice's retention and privacy process.
  • Use activity summaries that do not identify patients. FHO+ Billing is not a patient chart.
